Robert G. Buchanan Jr. 

The office was opened in April 2004. Mr. Buchanan's practice focuses on commercial real estate, commercial litigation and corporate matters. Prior to opening the office, Mr. Buchanan was a partner of Hermes Sargent Bates, L.L.P. from January 2000 through March 2004. Mr. Buchanan began his legal career as an associate with Cowles & Thompson, P.C. in 1987. Mr. Buchanan was a shareholder of Cowles & Thompson, P.C. from January 1995 through December 1999.

Mr. Buchanan received his bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University in 1984. Mr. Buchanan received his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1987. Mr. Buchanan is a member of the Dallas County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
